If the bristles of your toothbrush are too hard, you should stop using it as soon as possible, because it can damage your gums and eventually your teeth.

The condition of your toothbrush deteriorates with the passage of time and you must keep in mind to change it every three to four months. When you brush your teeth with an old toothbrush, it fails to clean your teeth and mouth effectively because of the poor condition of its bristles. So, it’s advisable to change your toothbrush within a short span of time like within three months or four months.

If you are a big fan of soft drinks and don’t want to stop their consumption, then it’s better to use a straw for that. By using a straw you can prevent your teeth from coming in contact with the acid (which harms your teeth)contained in the drink.

Apart from that, frequent consumption of snacks and chewing gums is also very harmful to your oral health.
